Federal Rebates
The Australian Federal Government's $3.9 billion Energy Efficient homes package aims to improve the energy rating of Australian homes - cutting their energy waste, making them more comfortable and helping home owners save up to 40% on their electricity bills.
Solar Hot Water Rebate Component
The Australian Federal Government is providing a rebate of $1,600 to eligible home-owners that have not already accessed the Insulating Australian Households Rebate. Eligible households can replace existing electric hot water systems in existing homes with solar and heat pump hot water systems. In additon to this Federal Rebate, the NSW Government is also offering a rebate of up to $1,200 to eligible NSW home-owners.
National Rainwater and Greywater Initiative
As part of the $12.9 billion Water for the Future plan, the Government is delivering the $250 million National Rainwater and Greywater Initiative to help people use water wisely in their everyday lives. The Australian Government is providing Rebates of up to $500 for households to install rainwater tanks or greywater systems.
The home-owners insulation program s a key part of the Energy efficient homes package. Under this program up to $1,600 is available to help eligible home occupiers install eiling insulation in their existing privately owned homes. For most home owners this will cver 100% of the cost to supply & nstallation.

NSW STATE REBATES
The rebates are additional to any other rebate offers currently available to NSW residents.
The Rainwater tank rebate provides up to $1500 for rainwater tanks connected to toilets and washing machines.
The Hot water system rebate provides up to $1200 to switch from electric to solar, heat pump or gas hot water systems.
The ceiling insulation rebate provides up to $300 to install new ceiling insulation.
